Visit the: PAIN Trophy Guide

I am still working on this guide so therefore it's not complete but will be soon!

Welcome to my website. This is a website devoted to mainly PS3 and also Blu-ray as this is my main areas of interest. The website currently has more than a few pages such as a PS3 release list which I constantly update, a 'How To' section such as how to install Linux on your PS3, A trophy section which describes the games that have trophies and how to obtain them. I also have a few review sections such as a 'PS3 Hardware' section which recommends the best gadgets to get for your PS3 and last but not least I have a PS Store update section and this is where I will keep you updated on what updates the store has every week.

I will eventually have a section where there will be downloadable PS3 Themes so you can customize your XMB Menu on your PS3 system. On this website as well I will have a game guides section where you can view or download guides that I have created. First in the line-up is 'Ratchet and Clank: Quest For Booty' but I will have more coming.

I am constantly adding to this website all the time so I will keep you informed of any updates. I am currently thinking what sections I could add to this website which can be quite helpful.

Blu-ray vs 'Standard' DVD

There’s a lot of discussion going around recently between Blu-ray and DVD. Many people at the moment are saying “there is no difference between upscaled DVD and Blu-ray”. There is a difference as the picture is more crisper and sharper and you won’t notice any distortion at all. Although some DVD’s look pretty good upscaled I would rather buy the Blu-ray alternative as I’m thinking about the future as well. The standard DVD will of course be around for a long time before Blu-ray is standard but if you want to view High Definition then it’s Blu-ray all the way definitely. I have to admit that people that own a standard definition TV will not be able to experience Blu-ray and therefore you have to invest in a HD TV (preferably one over 32 inches). The reason why Blu-ray is better than DVD is because a Blu-ray disc can hold 5 times more than a standard DVD can which obviously means the Blu-ray can fit more data on it thus improving the picture and sound quality so therefore an easy difference to notice. Although some old films won’t make good transfers to Blu-ray, modern films will look absolutely amazing on Blu-ray and I would recommend everybody that wants to enhance their movie experience to buy a PS3 or Blu-ray along with of course an HDTV!
