PAIN: TROPHY GUIDE
Gold Trophies:
KING of PAIN - Get all Trophies in Downtown plus Trill and Grenade-A-Maid
Affliction Addiction - Get 100,000,000 points in Downtown
This is an easy trophy to obtain but takes absolutely ages to get. Before I start you
don't have to get this trophy in one shot! You can even the quit to the main menu and go
back into it at another time if you wanted to. I would try and get all the other trophies
and leave this one last as you will end up getting the points you need anyway, but if you
wanted it really quickly then I recommend hitting as many cars as you can and all those
yellow boxes behind where you first lauch in 'PAINdemonium' as it's the best source of
points. I randomly obtained this trophy by just playing PAINdemonium for the fun of it
getting all the in-game trophies for the 'KING of PAIN' trophy and I happened to obtain
it without trying.
Silver Trophies:
Rodeo Clown - Use Ed to explode 500 barrels in Clown Toss
This is a moderately easy trophy to obtain but it takes time to obtain. Firstly you have
to unlock 'Ed' the cow. To unlock 'Ed' you have to to blow up the Cow that's right in
front of you on 'Downtown' with one of those grab-bomb boxes. You have bomb the cow 12
times and then you will unlock 'Ed' the cow in the character select screen. Select 'Ed'
the cow for the 'Clown Toss' mode. The fun part now is to toss the clown into as many
barrels as you can and then keep resetting it so you can hit more. The way I did is to hit
the most easy ones and then hit the 'select' button to reset the game. Once you have 500
barrels hit with the clown you have unlocked an easy trophy.
Harder Dick's Balls - Get all of Dick's Balls in the Block Party Dumpster without resetting
the scene
No joke this trophy took me ages to obtain, probably a couple of hours but then again it will
vary for anybody and if your lucky you may obtain this trophy within the first few tries.
What you have to do to earn this trophy is to get all 'Dick's' balls into the dumpster over
the other side of the building on your left. First thing to do is to move your character to
the left and you should notice '4' balls above you stuck on a sign. With each ball you have to
grab each one and then get it the dumpster over the other side. Firstly I recommend grabbing
onto the top left 'golf ball'. Launch yourself just above the golf ball and press the 'X'
button so that you grab the ball from underneath and then you should easily glide over the
other side and then you will see two dumpster's. It doesn't matter which one the ball's go in
by the way. I would recommend going into the dumpster with the ball rather than chuck it as
there is always a possibility that the ball will come back out again. Use the 'R1' button to
reset and then aim for the top-right ball which is the black and white 'football'. Use the
same technique to get this ball in but again make sure you go in with it. The next two balls
are the trickiest but it just takes a few tries to master. The next ball you should attempt
is the 'American Football' on the bottom-left hand side. There is a few ways to get this
ball in the dumpster but I recommend this technique: Aim for the top tip of the ball, probably
the black double stripe bit and like the other balls grab it by using the 'X' button. Once you
have grabbed the ball you will have to use the super 'ooch' to get enough movement so that you
are in line with the dumpster. Although I don't recommend it, this is a ball you have to throw
sometimes so that it goes in but if you can't get enough 'ooch' then this is your only option.
It took me a lot of tries but it worked for me. Now we have to get the 'Tennis Ball' into the
dumpster. To me this is an easy ball to get into the dumpster but it takes two turns. Firstly
launch yourself so that you aim for the right hand of the tennis ball but very slightly move
yourself so you hit the sign. The aim is to have the tennis ball sitting in the middle on the
right hand side of the sign. Once you grab the tennis ball and hit the sign you should bounce
off slightly so that you lie on the right hand side of the sign with the ball in your hand.
You will now need to reset the turn and again use the same technique for the top two balls to
get it inside the dumpster. Once you have got all the balls in dumpsters you will earn a
silver trophy!
Trill - Get PAINful Bullseye Trophy with Scurv Dogg or Hung Lo
This is trophy just takes a lot of time to obtain. For this trophy you obviously need either
Scurv Dogg or Hung Lo and go into Mime Toss Painful. The aim is to throw the mime directly in
the middle of the glass so you get a red writing saying 'bullseye'. You have to do this five
times to unlock the trophy. I recommend trying to aim for the far back three glass panes and
the front glass panes as they are the easiest to smash. Don't worry if you don't get a bullseye
in all of them just as long as you get at least five in one game. By the way hit the 'R1'
button if you are about to hit the glass pane wrongly to avoid lowering your chances of getting
the trophy.
2 Mill Club - Get "PAIN in the Park" and "D-Town Destruction"
Ninja pwn - Hit the Target Stuffed Ninja in every Abusement Park Mode
Bronze Trophies:
Dude Abides - Use "The Dude" to score 30 Strikes In Bowling
First of all you need to unlock the 'Dude' which is 'Jarvis's' third unlockable character. To
unlock him you need to play 12 games of bowling. The quickest way of getting through the 12 games
is to hit the 'R1' button after each launch but I recommend putting this time into getting strikes
for the 'Constipated' trophy as you need 100 strikes. Once you have unlocked the 'Dude' you will
need to get 30 strikes with this character. I would aim into the middle and ooch around to knock
them all down to have better chances hitting them all.
D-Town Destruction - Get 2,000,000 score in PAINdemonium and Aftermath
This trophy can be time consuming as you will need to get 2,000,000 in one shot. You have to get
this score in both PAINdemonium and Aftermath to unlock the trophy. The best way to get 2 million
is to keep on the road being run over by as many cars as possible and using the ooch technique
to keep switching between the left and right hand side of the roads. Before you know it your score
starts to add up quite well. Beware of the cop car as it has the tendency of always crashing all
the time but sometimes he doesn't so it's not that bad. I recommend getting run over by cars in
both PAINdemonium and Aftermath as I think it's the easiest way of getting points.
PAIN in the Park - Get 2,000,000 score in Abusement Park and After Hours
Combo Mambo - Get 15x Combo in PAINdemonium, Aftermath, Block Party and Demolition
Horsin' A Clown - Take the Clown for a ride on the Roller Coaster
Glutten - Make 30 "Eat It!" shots in "Call Da Shot"
Constipated - 100th Strike
To obtain this trophy you obviously need to get 100 strikes in the multiplayer game of bowling and
you can use any character to do this. The best way of getting strikes is to hit the middle skittle
at high force and if you can use the 'ooch' technique to knock down any left standing.
PAIN and Mane - Play 100 games of Trauma or Horse
Attention Spam - Get every type of PAIN (Groin, Head, Arm, Hand, Leg, Foot and Body) combo
in PAINdemonium, Aftermath, Block Party and Demolition
Grenade-A-Maid - Get Exploded 200 times in Downtown Fun With Explosives (single or multiplayer)
playing any female character
This is an easy trophy to obtain and it requires you get exploded 200 times with a female character.
You will need to purchase any female character of your choice to do this. Just have fun and explode
200 of those yellow boxes until you unlock the trophy.
